HabitBeast (“the App”) is operated by Social Sin LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use HabitBeast.

• Email address — used for account creation and authentication
• Monster name — the name you choose for your in-game monster (not required to be a real name)
• Habit data — habits you select and track (habit types, completion status, streak counts, tier progression)
• Battle data — battle actions earned, challenge history, win/loss records

2b. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — app screens visited, features used, session duration (via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash reports — error logs and stack traces when the app crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Device information — device type, operating system version, app version (for crash diagnostics only)

2c. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Real name, physical address, or phone number
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• Photos or camera data
• Financial information (payment is handled entirely by the App Store/Play Store)

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) in the us-central1 region
• Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (Firebase default encryption)
• Access to your data is controlled by Firebase Security Rules — only you can access your own habit and battle data

HabitBeast uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

6. Leaderboards

If you choose to appear on the leaderboard (opt-in setting), your monster name and level will be visible to other players. Your email address is never visible to other players.

You can opt out of the leaderboard at any time in your Profile settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

HabitBeast is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data
• Correction — update inaccurate information in your profile
• Opt-out — disable analytics tracking or leaderboard visibility

Deleting Your Account

To delete your account and all associated data:

1. Open HabitBeast
2. Go to Profile → Settings
3. Tap “Delete Account”

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Alternatively, email us at privacy@socialsin.co with subject line “Delete My Account.”

• Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
• Deleted accounts: All personal data deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be retained indefinitely

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
